At the former Auermühle weir in Leverkusen-Schlebusch a modern control station has been constructed. This is operated on an unsalaried basis by the Waterways Initiative of the Sportanglerverein Bayer Leverkusen [Bayer Leverkusen Anglers’ Association]. Next to the control station a hatching house is situated, where salmon and sea trout eggs are hatched out for the resettlement project. If you would like to take part in a guided tour in the autumn migratory season, please register here.
